Greetings Everyone,
Sorry for the lack of updates, we kinda took a little break as we all went through a hectic end of the summer. I'm happy to say we are back at it this fall, and that starts with recording a new album! We started recording this past weekend with Mike Bardzik at his Noisy Little Critter Studio in Downingtown, PA. We finished drums, bass, and half of the rhythm guitars for 9 songs, which could stretch to 11 songs for the actual record.
Everything is sounding amazing and we are pulling out all the stops to take this record to next level. We hope to have tracking wrapped up by the end of the year and look forward to a release in early 2013.
Look for more shows in the meantime, we plan to get back in the swing of playing out more regularily as well as branching out our shows as well. Check back for more updates and we'll see you soon!

Sorry Things Are A Bit Slow...
Hey Folks,
Just thought I'd give a quick update. We've been on a bit of a break working on material for our new album we are recording in October. We decided to postpone our July session so we can write more and make it more of an epic experience.
"Blackhawk Waltz" was so stripped down, just us three in the studio playing live, with minimal overdubs and Brad Hinton laying down the lap steel on top. We want to go bigger this time, make this album a production with more instruments and musicians involved. We've got some crazy ideas so we are pretty excited. Look for us to be back at it in a big way this fall. We'll be doing random shows here and there in the meantime so keep checking back!
**EDIT - We have sort of last minute show at The Fire in Philly next Thursday 8/2. Come on out, it's been awhile!

Some Stuff...
Sorry for the lack of updates around here, we've been playing some really awesome shows the last two months. Thanks to everyone who came out! Now that we have some time off for a bit, we are in crunch time finishing up a bunch of new songs for our recording session in a few weeks.
We'll be recording with Mike Bardzik at his Noisy Little Critter Studio in Downingtown, PA. Last year, when we recorded "Blackhawk Waltz" we were one of the last bands to record at his old studio space in West Chester, PA. We are definitely excited to do it up at the new space. I've heard a bunch of stuff coming out of there and it sounds phenomenal!
As far as shows, we are working on a bunch so keep checking back! We intend to stay busy.

New Indie Cards, Some Other Things...
Greetings everyone, just a little update on the Old Arrows front. We had a blast playing our first show in NYC last Friday! All the bands were great, be sure to check out an awesome band called The Guays, they were on tour from Japan and totally destroyed it, here is a little sample of their mayhem...

Sorry if anyone from RI was planning on coming out to the show in Pawtucket last Saturday. Long story short, some bad luck lead to the show being cancelled. The good news is that we are working on rescheduling it though, so keep checking back.
If you come out to shows and haven't picked up our debut album "Blackhawk Waltz" yet, we now have Indie Cards available that you can grab from us for FREE (or a donation if you are in the giving mood). These cards provide a website and code to download a digital copy of the album.
Speaking of albums, we are heading back into the studio in June to begin recording our next one. We've been working on a lot of new rockin' material and can't wait to lay it down. We'll post new songs as they come about so definitely stay tuned.
